1 Chimerical (adjective)
Meaning- relating to a hope or dream that is extremely unlikely ever to come true. (असंभव)
Synonyms: imaginary, fanciful, fantastic, illusory
Antonyms: realistic, existing, tangible, palpable
Example: The tale of Dany riding a dragon seems chimerical.


 
2 Alacrity (noun)
Meaning- Speed and eagerness. (तत्परता)
Synonyms: promptness, ardour, fervour, zeal
Antonyms: sluggishness, sloth, apathy, indolence
Example: She spread the news with alacrity.

3 Rudimentary (adjective)
Meaning- involving or limited to basic principles. (मौलिक)
Synonyms: basic, elementary, fundamental, introductory
Antonyms: advanced, complex, sophisticated, intricate
Example: He has only a rudimentary knowledge of the subject.

4 Terse (adjective)
Meaning- using few words: devoid of superfluity. (संक्षिप्त)
Synonyms: concise, succinct, laconic, pithy
Antonyms: long-winded, verbose, elaborate, rambling
Example: “Are you feeling any better?” “No!” was the terse reply.


5 Hindsight (noun)
Meaning- understanding of a situation or event only after it has happened or developed. (पश्च दृष्टि)
Synonyms: retrospection, reflexion, looking back, afterthought
Antonyms: foresight, anticipation, premonition, prevision
Example: With hindsight, I should have taken the job.

6 Expropriate (verb)
Meaning- to take away money or property especially for public use without payment to the owner, or for personal use illegally. (ज़ब्त करना)

8 Axiomatic (adjective)
Meaning- obviously true and therefore not needing to be proved. (सिद्ध)
Synonyms: self-evident, manifest, apodictic, unquestionable
Antonyms: uncertain, doubtable, arguable, moot
Example: It is axiomatic that a whole is greater than any of its parts.

9. Predisposition (noun)
Meaning- the state of being likely to behave in a particular way. (पूर्ववृत्ति)
Synonyms: tendency, propensity, bent, inclination
Antonyms: objectivity, neutrality, indisposition, disinterest
Example: She has an annoying predisposition to find fault.

10. Onerous (adjective)
Meaning- (of a task or responsibility) involving a great deal of effort, trouble, or difficulty. (कष्टदायक)
Synonyms: burdensome, arduous, strenuous, uphill
Antonyms: effortless, undemanding, trouble-free, simple
Example: This is the most onerous task I have ever undertaken.
